The North meets the South, as members of two bands unite in a fresh and sophisticated harmony of substance, spirit, and sound.
Rob (vocals/lead guitar) and Jim Bonaccorsi (bass guitar) of the Bono Bros Band and Freddy Jones Band, from Oak Park, IL have joined forces with Zach Lancaster (lead vocals/acoustic guitar), Cade Thompson (Piano/Keyboard), & Whitney Caballero (vocals) of The Wayward Travellers from Dallas, TX.
There was an instant connection, a spark, from the very first meeting that propelled the two bands to collaborate and ultimately unite in an effort to fuse the Blues and Rock & Roll of Chicago with the smooth sounds of Folk and Western music found deep in the heart of Texas. Core elements of these musical genres are blended and served neat, in what is best described as a soulfully, unique Americana listening experience. The outcome is a sultry amalgam of elegant vocal harmonies, instrumental expression of feeling, and inspiring lyrical story telling that speaks to the essence of humanity.
Special Guests include Tom Albanese on vocals/harmonica formerly of Big G, Nick Kitsos on drums formerly of BoDeans and Poi Dog Pondering, Heath Drulman of 33 Minute Drag on lead guitar/bass guitar, and David Mehalko on fiddle.

The Wayward Travellers represents a story of love, loss, laughter, and long underwear. We are just five old souls that love to play great sounding music.
We are shaped by the three most important things in our lives, our friends, our families, and most importantly, our faith. And maybe a little bourbon on the rocks from time to time.
Willie Nelson, Mandolin Orange, Foy Vance, The White Buffalo, the Avett Brothers, and so many other great artists. Our music blends Americana and country melodies with acoustic sounds to create a unique vibe. Our lyrics are personal and inspired by the ups and downs of life.
